          Thanks Astrotechnician. In fact, I did not then continue on the road to making the machine.
          I certainly acted with a little masochism there, but I don't mind a little physical work :scratch: Especially in winter when the weather does not accompany the walks and I only have to chop the wood for the fireplace.

              Of course.
              The roughing job can be adaptable to any capable machine tool, wet, to use a motorized spindle with a diamond wheel as a tool, installed on the tool holder, which makes it describe a curve of desired radius, with a minimum feed that can be adjusted by hand.

              But there are those who also do it according to different principles “do-it-yourself”
