Ciao a tutti mi chiamo Carlo sono di Cursi provincia di Lecce, sono nuovo all’astronomia e non ho mai posseduto un telescopio, anche se ho sempre avuto l’idea di acquistarne uno ma non l’ho mai fatto . Però da qualche tempo (per caso mi sono imbattuto su questo sito) seguo questo forum e mi sono detto “perchè no!”, visto che mi piace costruire le cose (fallimenti e riuscite) fare un telescopio sarebbe una bella impresa.
Quindi eccomi qua.

Infatti costruire un telescopio Newton di tipo Dobson è il modo più semplice esistente. Cosa assai più impegnativa è costruire anche lo specchio primario, che peraltro può essere convenientemente acquistato nell’usato, e inserito nella struttura “do-it-yourself”.

I also intend to scratch the primary mirror, pensavo a un compromesso tra difficoltà di realizzazione e prestazioni a un 250mm con normale vetro da 20mm.

I'd say the right choice. A 250 F5 alleggerito è un buon inizio, o F6 o 6,5 non allegerito è oltre che di buon inizio anche si facile e sicuro risultato di qualità.

Ottima scelta quella di iniziare con un 250 f5
Ottimo rapporto tra probabilità di successo e soddisfazioni osservative date dal diametro scelto.

which will help you avoid the common mistake of struggling to reach the spherical cap with the desired depth of arrow in the center of the mirror (which is 3.12mm for a 250F5 mirror):
